The Rotary Club of Finchley

We entered a new Rotary Year  on the 28th June, 2007, when Andrew Galatopoulos took over from  the Club's first lady President - President Anne Rowland after her 2nd year in office.

During her 2nd year as President the Club  inducted two new members and has continued to serve the community and complete other overseas projects.

The club also celebrated its 80th birthday and during their Xmas celebratory lunch, at The Haven Restaurant in Whetstone a special presentation was made by Clive Amos the District Governor to Cllr. Brian Coleman, a member of the Rotary Club of Finchley.

The presentation, a Paul Harris award - one of the highest awards in Rotary, was made to him for his service to the community both as a Councillor and as a Rotarian and for his efforts and hard work endeavoring to bring the World Rotary International Convention to London in the year 2013
